I am looking for the family of Pamela Helen Arnould born in Edinburgh in 1926 and emigrated to NZ in 1955. As far as I know her grandfather was a traveling miller and one sister of his wife.
The paternal side were thought to be French Huguenots.
Are there any Scottish and French records that I can search on line for my friend.
My friend has all of the NZ information.
Thank you

Are you trying to find her parents names? If so - her birth should be on Scotland’s People but you will have to buy a copy of her birth certificate.
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

SP is not showing a birth for that name. Was Arnould her married name?

Do you mean Patricia Helen - not Pamela Helen? There are 2 births for that name in 1926 on SP

Hi all,

Patricia Arnould married John William Kirk.

You will have to buy a copy of her birth cert to get parental info if that is what you are looking for.
She did not marry in Scotland as there is no marriage on SP

You should be able to get Patricia's parents names from her marriage or death(2006?) certs I would think.
Scotlandspeople has a possible marriage in 1925(Francis Arnould / Mabel Smart) , if that is the correct parents you will be able to download that certificate and find out Patricia's grandparents.
