I am trying to find out if there are pictures of my relations the Pye family who settled in New York in 1795. My 5 times great Grand father Thomas Pye born 1762 in Birmingham moved the New York in  1795 he opened a Locksmith Factory in New York.  He and his sons had a successful business.  His daughter Rachel Pye married into the Whaley Family.  Rachel Pye was a successful businesswoman and when her husband died she went on to buy various land in New York.  Her details are as follows
Rachel Pye born in 1762 Birmingham and died as Rachel Whaley in New York in 1881.  Who do I need to contact regarding any further information about the family.

I think Rachel's birth date is wrong otherwise she was 119 years old at death!

It looks like Rachel was born around 1792.
