This photo is from my maternal side and is possibly the Stark family in Kentucky. Could someone date this and possibly clean up the image so I can identify them. Thank you.
-
This is a superb family group, here are two from me, one with some colour added.

Definitely not a chap I should want to cross... :)
The youngster on the right has something strange going on with his toes??
-
Thank you all for the clean up. Any guess as to the age of this?
-
I would suggest another 1870's Tintype.
-
That helps, thanks!

These Starks didn't at one time come from Northumberland did they

I love this photo.
These are the kind of people I admire. The severity of life is written in each face.
I know people were not always able to buy shoes, but I thought that the reason lad on the right didn't have any was perhaps because of his foot. So sad.
I am trying a brush up and tint, but got a bit of trouble at the minute and it may take some time.

Thank you for your effort.
-
It did take some time, but here at last ::)
-
Beautiful! Thank you so much for your time and effort!

My pleasure, it was a lovely photo to work on.
