Birth registration Jun 1910 Skipton shows mothers maiden name Middlebrook.

Marriage in Sep 1899 Skipton

There are several births with Birch/Middlebrook in Skipton looking at boys alone but may not be all from the same parents.

There is a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post of 16 July 1951.  Heading is 1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Car Crash.

Wilfred Birch, The Oval, Shortbanks, Skipton was killed when the car in which he was travelling was in collision with a motor coach at Cowling, near Keighley.

Two other occupants of the car, Thomas Richmond Hodgson, Woodland Cottage, Kildwick, driver (severe concussion), and T. H. Wiseman, King Street, Spring Gardens, Skipton, (lacerated scalp and suspected fracture of the spine), were today reported to be poorly.

In the 1939 Register he is living in Skipton with a wife.  Birth date is the same as given by Rados.
