Title: Selina Beckett, Noneley, Loppington, 1848

Hello--
    Looking for a Selina Beckett. She was listed as the informant on the Death Certificate of
Emma Beckett who died 27 December 1848 at Common Wood in Loppington, age 14 years.
Emma was the daughter of Thomas Beckett and Mary Wainwright Beckett (1813-1849) of Common Wood in Loppington. When Thomas Becket(t) (now of Noneley) remarried 3 August 1849 at Loppington, he listed his father as William Becket, Labourer. Thomas' second wife was a widow, Ann Harrison, of Wem, a daughter of Thomas Brown. 
Thanks. Any ideas would be helpful. Hoping to connect Selina to Thomas and William Beckett

Have you looked for her on the 1841 and 1851 censuses?

    1841 and 1851 checked. No Selina in Shropshire.
I know Thomas was born in Shropshire--not sure where.
He left UK for USA in 1850--wish he left after 1851 Census!!

I've seen stranger things but a wild possibility may be daughter Sarah listed in 1841 with her name mispelt.

Does the death cert show any relationship for Selina?  It seems odd that Thomas didn't report Emma's death

i may have been looking at a different Thomas and Mary Beckett spelt correctly.
