Post by: artisann on Saturday 03 February 18 21:05 GMT (UK)
Having problems logging into tribalpages...keep getting invalid e mail address...my e mail address hasn’t changed, I can get in on the app on the phone but not into main site. I have emailed tribalpages...but have had no response..
Can anyone please offer any idea on what I could try.
Many thanks in advance

You could try deleting the cookie for it. Then try logging in.

Never used it...sorry.

https://www.google.ie/search?q=clear+cookies+on+safari&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gws_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=ASd2WpGpLuyCgAaagreQBw

...BUT you should just Delete the one from the list otherwise you will lose saved passwords etc for other sites.

Just looking here... it just shows Delete All  https://www.replicon.com/customer-zone2/kb-2840

You could just try Clearing Cache. See if that sorts it, doesn't clear cookies!!

The safer way would be to try in log in using your Safari browser in "private" mode. This will just make sure that you login details are correct.

Here is some help on how to do that:

Talking through what I do when I log in to Tribal Pages, the bookmark I have puts me through to my Homepage. In the top right hand corner of the page there is a box, where it is written;Security,Enter Access Code to view private data.Upon clicking on this,a new page comes up where you put in your Access Code to log in.

William thank you also for your input...my prob was that no matter what I did when using my iPad tribalpages wouldn’t recognise my email, just saying invalid email, the app on my phone was working fine with the same email....
Happy Days  :)
Thank you again

Just a thought, do you think it could be an invalid password really, not an invalid email?

It's just a thought, as normally if somebody tried to log in somewhere then the error message is usually "invalid username or password" or "invalid email and password" or "invalid login details". Normally you would not be told if it was an invalid email address.

The other thing worth remembering is that normally when you log in somewhere is that any capitals or lower case letters are seen as totally different for a computer, so make sure they match too.

Agree with Trystan. I've just been to my TP page clicked "sign in" & it sent me to another page asking for the "access code"
Entered password all OK.
It's only when you want to log in as administrator that your email address & password are required.

Hi trystan and Jim
Ok when I go to google  and see tribalpages Logon...I press this and the e mail box and password box is already filled in....also when I try to enter my correct lower case email it comes up invalid email, just by chance I tried changing first letter of my email to capital...it accepted it...a bit worried as I have never changed my email ...just to add the login in box was showing my correct e mail...but now is showing the capital letter...bit worried really
Thanks though to both for trying to help  :)
I pay for extra space with TP...and its due in March but I just feel like deleting as I have all my tree on a dongle  :-[
