Hello
As I have discovered Tubby was a very popular name in the 1800s which hasn't made researching them easy. I am interested in John Tubby 1739-1780 buried at Cawston 12/3/1780 who married Phillis Doyle 17/3/1762 Heveingham Norfolk.
A number of trees on line .
There is also a record on line for a pension for a John Tubby--but was this him. ?? Served 12 Foot . Birth year about 1741 near Norwich . Royal Chelsea Hospital records. Pension examination 17/3/1762.
Grateful for any information on John Tubby.
Many Thanks
