Post by: joger on Thursday 08 February 18 12:36 GMT (UK)
Hello,
For someone who doesn't speak English, is it possible to find this birth /baptism ? The date was found on a paper  called "Ordonnance du Roi" allowing John to live and stay in Dunkerque , France,in 1823.
Thank you .

His wife , Mary Ann JONES  said born in London, gave birth to a girl Emelie (Emilie, Emily) in 1826 in Montreuil sur Mer in France while he was in London .
There is a John Jackson who married a Mary Ann Jones in Littleport 1825.

Is it possible to find a trace of them in England?

Hi Joger

Littleport is in Cambridgeshire so you might be better to put this request on the Cambridge page.

I don't have access to Cambridgeshire records I'm afraid.
