I wondered if anyone has burial records for Edmonton cemetery please looking for a Susannah Lewis died 1911. I apologise if there is more than one cemetery
-
Just wondering if you know for sure it was Edmonton Cemetery?
There is a Susannah Lewis, aged 69, buried on 8 April 1911 in Nunhead Cemetery. (Apologies if this is totally ridiculous, but I am not familiar with the proximity of the various areas of London).

Too be honest I don’t know. I found a Susannah Lewis died Edmonton and I just assumed she would be buried in the cemetery there. My knowledge of the area is zero as im from Wales. Don’t worry it was a bit of a long shot. Thanks
-
But what was her age at death please ?-- the one in Nunhead was 69 - and appears to be buried with a whole lot of others -- paupers' grave probably.
Don't give up -- someone who knows the area better should be able to help.
-
Susan was born in 1836 thanks
-
So -- on the face of it, the one at Nunhead isn't the correct Susannah Lewis, as yours was about 75 at death -- just a coincidence that they both had the same name and died in the same year.
Back to the drawing board then!

Where was she living in 1911

I believe England with an uncle another mystery. Don’t worry she could be anyway. Thank you so much

OK, so who is the Susanna/h Lewis that you are looking for. Where & when was she born - was she married if so who to.
-
Susan was born in Brecon 1836 to John Lewis and Joan Lewis. She married a William Williams in 1862 in clyro. On the 1871 census she was back with her dad and brother in Christ college Brecon. I don’t know where hubby was. After 1871 I can’t find her or her brother William Lewis. I’m assuming they moved away or possibly emigrated with names like theirs it is not an easy challenge thanks
-
I see what you mean, I remember you have tried looking for her and her brother before
