I've been looking for records of Anthony and mary boysiewick of Brooklyn , new York. both of them are are deceased, dates unknown. they were both born in Poland around 1870. they had two sons, both deceased. I don't know when they came over or what port they arrived in. I'm doing this for a friend, she's had no luck either. tried ancestr, no luck there. any suggestions would be be welcome.
thanks.

how did the friend arrive at these two names (anthony & mary) ?
do you have a definitive name , year and birthplace for either of the sons?
This couple seem to be too young, but I'll throw them in anyway.

It looks as if the surname is probably jumbled somewhere along the line, have'nt found the family on census yet. :-\
How did you get the birth year around 1870 ? If the sons were Walter, Frank and daughter Genevieve, 1870 would sound strange.

Try the 6-y-old Walter Boryewich b 1924 in the 1930 census.

Excellent - good find. - starting to forget what combinations I'd used
Father Tony born Russia. Address is the same as the unclaimed Prudential Savings Bank Notice in 1949

the 1940 census would appear to be this one:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KQ9T-X3P (Mary is Head-of-house)
"sangria" . We can see that you have been back at least once.
perhaps you will have the courtesy to pass on the link to these answers to the friend, and the friend can at least acknowledge the results.
