One of my ancestors lived here in 1841.

Added: The 1841 census's enumerator's walk is not very helpful. It just says the "whole of the parish of Easton." You could have a look through the 12 pages to try to work out the route the enumerator took using farm names as a guide. Easton Street seems quite long so difficult to narrow down the precise abode of your ancestor.
You could also check the 1851 census for Easton Street in case the enumerator gives more details of the residences he visited.

What I glean from the maps is that this whole area is peppered by tiny settlements maybe only a kilometre apart, and that leaving Easton for an adjacent community is hardly an epic migration.
The split maps are very good. Thank you.
The history file is huge for such a small community. My quick browse through it reveals that this is a community with a substantial number of poor people who needed handouts, and the richer families were willing and able to help them with annual donations of money, coal etc. This is a real community!
I Googled some of the streets and am impressed by the beauty of the old thatched homes in this place.
And yes I will look at the later censuses to get a better fix of where my Whitebread ancestors lived, and whether the property identified in 1841 was handed down through the generations.

Malky has identified the correct Easton, which the census specifies is in the district of Pewsey.
The one I gave the links to earlier is a different Easton. :)
