Seeking local expertise as my searches to date have all been negative.
Patrick Mathew Bresnan b 1853 son of Hugh and Ellen Murphy arrives in Australia around 1862 (Not confirmed yet) as his death certificate in 1928 shows he has been here for 66 years,parents names verified.Hugh is recorded as a teacher.
Would appreciate any assistance regarding his short time in Ireland.
Have since found the marriage of Hugh and Ellen on 1 May 1835 in Castleisland and baptism of son Daniel on 12 May 1835.
