Looking for Samuel McAdams, son of David McAdams 1799-1883 and Hannah Creath (Crieth) 1807-about 1881. Both parents passed in Ontario, Canada
Samuel had the following siblings
Mary Ann McAdams 1842–
William John McAdams 1847–1935
Letticia McAdams 1848–1933
James McAdams 1849–1935
We believe the family may have arrived around 1849 but that is not confirmed. We find David and Hannah in the 1861 Canada census. No luck with 1851 so far
We have Samuel married to Ida Willburn (Wilburn) 10 Apr 1878 in Chatham Kent area. We found one child, David McAdams born February 1880 (Died SEPTEMBER 15, 1962 • Wallaceburg, Chatham-Kent Municipality, Ontario, Canada)
We find no record of Samuel or Ida after 1881 Census Their Son David married 14 Nov 1900 and parents are clearly listed but nothing to note where they lived . Son David is a farmer and living in Chatham Kent area
We do find border crossings to Michigan for David and spouse Rachel 1 Apr 1923 but are unable to view. However, such traffic was not unusual. We do know of other branches that moved to Michigan, usually related to work on railroads. Perhaps the border documents would show who they were travelling to see. As best we can tell, all above siblings remained in Ontario

David's April 4th 1923 entry states he is going to visit Carmon McLaren 1326 Hancock West which I assume is in Detroit. The returning entry just has his address, wife's name and occupation (Carpenter).
There is a Samuel in several Essex County voters lists would this be David's son?
There are a few in the 1891 Census in the Wallaceburg/Windsor area but I don't know if they are connected to you.

My James McAdams 1849-1935 did marry Mary Douglas Thompson 1842-1912
I believe he later married Mary Ida Bannister 4 Nov 1914 in London. I have not found a death for Mary Ida. One hint points to her moving to US, possibly Ohio
Trying to find info on a son Roy McAdams born about 1889. Find him in 1891 but then nothing

I suspect that Roy died 1891-1901. I have a number of people in Kent Co that I can find burials for but for some reason can not find death certs.
