William and Elizabeth Griffin (maiden surname Ash) married in 1857.
They appear to have had 7 children
Jane
Eliza
Ruth
George
Maria
William
Charles
The problem I have is with Jane born 1857(c) Cirencester
Cannot find a birth reg for her although she appears with her siblings on the census.
Have tried Jessie and a few similiar names with no luck. Should mention all her sibling's births are regestered.
Have enclosed an attachment, may help.
Any help would be appreciated

I wonder if her name wasn't registered at the time. Possible?

Yes KGarrad, not a easy family to research. If they were mine I would be ordering certificates to sort them out. Elizabeth dies in 1870, William remarries in 1873 to Anna Maria Wakefield and seem to have many children. Anna used her second name Maria but christened Anna.
I found one Ash marrying his Niece, not sure what the law back then would make of that.
Thanks
