I cant seem to find anything on a specific regiment for The Royal Flying Corps. and need help!
The Regiment number im looking for is 1002 from RFC The name affiliated with thing Reg number is "Frank L Panrucker", his rank was AM2 (Aircraft Mechanic rank 2). Im not looking for any help with Frank or his information specially, just the Regiment number 1002 from the RFC. Thanks alot for any help!

Difficulty trying to work out what you after.His Service number 1002 was allocated to him in 1913 whilst in Royal Flying Corps and transferred to RAF in April 1918
Looking on his service record for RFC/RAF he could have served in 5 squadron as 5 annotated on there.
1002 is an individual's number.

1002 was his service number. He joined the RFC in December 1913 and served in 5 Squadron Royal Flying Corps in France from 14 August 1914. As with all other RFC he was transferred to the RAF on 1 April 1918. It is unclear whether he remained with 5 Squadron after April 1918, there are no other units named. He was discharged in Sep 1922 under the section "service no longer required" - there is no clue on his record as to why this particular reason for discharge and really not worth speculating He had served in the Worcester Yeomanry 1908-1911.
There is a history of 5 Squadron at the National Archives at AIR 1/687 although - not digitised.
