Dolly Copeland worked in a court dressmaker's shop. She had a sister Miriam who married a Canadian Ben Hopkins. They built a log house & had 2 children Hayward & Joan.
Joan married Alex Richards & had 3 daughters J, D & E.
J married T & they have 2 children S & M.
E married P H & they have D & R.
In clearing a deceased relative's house last week I came across some photographs of interest to this family. It looks like they lived in Minnedosa, Manitoba. Please get in touch if you are related.
The relative's mother worked with Dolly.
ADDED: I have emailed the Minnedosa town contact email. I note that the log barn built has been preserved in museum!!

Thank you very much Sandra. will try all contacts you have given; don't have any social network membership but will try for E, PH , DH & RH through ancestry tree.

Good luck. You never know, thru powers of google, they might find your request here.
Sure you will come back if any up date to report.

Yes, once a name is on a public forum [and rootschat posts come very high in google searches] it can be found. Of course I will report back, it's always good to find a rightful home for ephemera. I once obtained the scan of an isolated torn out page of a family bible which was not only useful but is now a prized possession.
-
Just to say I've already had a reply from the kenora.net contact, who has forwarded my email onto his cousin who, it appears, is the owner of the ancestry tree who I have also contacted. She will get a double whammy!! So far, so successful.....

Terrific and quickly as well - its a pity they weren't all that easy ;)

Found Ernest & Ethel travelling to Java in 1929, Ernest a Theatrical manager. My mum [Ernest's niece] told stories of her cohort of cousins going to the Adelphi Theatre to see an annual Christmas show & having teas from square teapots with the spout in a corner!! Sadly Ernest & Ethel had one child who died at a year old.
