You will need to register to use the website, but it looks like you can search for yourself.

Unable to search it myself as showed that I need to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or access the site at a family history center.

You can register on that site without being a member of the Latter Day Saints

Or cambridge depending on the part of essex and the transport links.

or Ipswich? https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Ipswich_England_Family_History_Center

Probably have to wait until they come online
Keep an eye on Kent OPC and Medway Ancestors (Cityark) which may also list them at some point in the future.

I get the same message as Beverley when trying Pauline's URL, but I can do textual lookups from the Search tab.

Bromley Local Studies has an index on microfiche and the full registers on film. I found the following on the fiche and subsequently also the christenings and marriages (but not the burials) on FamilySearch:-

Christenings:
p32 23-Mar-1701 Thomas son of William Deane
p33 16-Jun-1703 William son of William Dean
--- 3-Apr-1705 Richard son of William Dean (FS only)
p34 3-Nov-1706 Ann daughter of William Dean (FS says Anne and 20-Nov-1706)
p35 5-Apr-1708 Edmund son of Wm Dean

Marriages:
p55 17-Jun-1610 Richarde Juckes & Ales Deane
p57 4-Oct-1632 John Kipps & Bridget Deane
p58 15-Apr-1671 Will: Dean & Ann Simmons (FS has Sinnons)
p60 5-Feb-1705 John Mannyng & Ann Dean

Burials:
p89 9-Oct-1706 Margaret Dean
p89 27-Nov-1706 Thomas Dean
p89 14-Jan-1708 Mary wife of Will: Dean
p89 16-Feb-1708 Mrs Ann Dean widow
p94 12-Jul-1724 Mr William Dean
p95 17-Dec-1726 Thomas Dean
p96 1-Jan-1727 Eliz: Dean a child from Sundrich

I did not have time to see if there is any further detail on the full register scans, but will do so next week. Meanwhile, Beverley may be able to eliminate some of the above, or a fuller examination of the search results on FS might give some more leads.

Leland Duncan's MI survey in 1921 (http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/Research/Libr/MIs/MIsStMaryCray/MIsStMaryCray.htm) has just one Dean grave:
57. A broken headstone, now flat under East window. Mr William Deane of Deptford, distiller, son of Mr William Deane (of .... the .... S....... officer) .....January 1767, aged ..... years.
I don't remember coming across this, but considering the description and the present state of most of the gravestones at St Mary's, I don't hold out much hope of finding it. There is no January 1767 burial in the microfiche index.

[Aside: Page 95 on the fiche transcribes that whilst conducting a midnight burial (not a Dean), the vicar fell into the grave, injured his leg, and was in bed for 6 weeks! During this period another midnight burial was conducted by a deputy, without incident.]

Hi Beverley,
Family Search has gone pear shaped since another big player got their finger in the pie. The only baptisms I can find on there for St Mary Cray to a William and Elizabeth are all after 1700. Have you got their marriage date?

As we've not really found anything  at St Mary Cray matching Beverley's data, I've looked at transcriptions for some other parishes around it. Unfortunately, the results are no better. For the record:-

Orpington, All Saints:
17-Feb-1685 Marriage of William Dean to Mary ?
18-Jun-1727 Marriage of Edward Jeal to Sarah Dean

Chislehurst, St Nicholas:
19-Mar-1559 Burial of William
5-Mar-1581 Burial of James
15-Sep-1592 Burial of John
29-Mar-1612 Burial of Annis, infant
8-Apr-1628 Burial of Edward
15-May-1674 Baptism of Sarah, daughter of John & Sarah Dean
plus a dozen or so other baptisms in the 1500s I didn't write down.

No Deans at all at St Paul's Cray, North Cray, Downe, Chelsfield, Keston, or Farnborough.

I haven't yet looked at the original St Mary Cray registers.
