I can find a record from 1969 of a Removed marrying a person with surname Removed in Leeds.
I can't find the first name of the husband, however. And for some reason it doesn't seem to list on FreeBMD's search either...

You can see the coverage of FreeBMD at https://www.freebmd.org.uk/progressM.shtml#y1950
1969 is not fully covered, especially the last quarter.

ah okay, thanks guys,
why is late 1969 not covered do we know?
-
It is being done by volunteers so work is in progress.
If that couple are still living you should not put their details on here ;)
-
This is also available on familysearch here :

As these people may well be living I don't think their names should be mentioned here ?

I'm currently working on the transcriptions for September quarter 1969 - currently doing page 901, which is marriages for surnames beginning H ;D
Added: at an average of 120 entries per page, that is roughly 108,000 entries so far in this quarter alone. :o

Hope that FreeBMD have considered whether to show names in the Index for the 1950's onward ? ...... :P
-
so why have some marriages from the 1970s been done before 1969 on freeBMD?
-
Because we work as part of a syndicate, and each syndicate is allocated a year/quarter to transcribe. I am working for a syndicate which has been allocated all the marriage entries for 1969. 1970 marriages have been allocated to two other syndicates.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. FreeBMD merely transcribes, free of charge, the printed GRO indexes - we can only work from these.
