Is anyone able to help with dates of birth for the family members? There are different dates on different trees on genealogy sites.
Charles Russen was born in Twickenham, probably in 1790s. He married Amelia Stone from Nottinghamshire, in 1818.
I have found the following on a tree " In 1813 he joined the East Middlesex Militia, he then joined the 33 Regiment of Foot on 8th April 1813. In Germany, Belgium and France during Wellington's Penninsular Campaign. Injured at Williamstadt and hospitalised in Tourney Belgium, hence he missed the Battle of Waterloo".
The couple had 3 daughters, Eliza Ann, Jane and Sarah. Dates or years of birth of these three would be most helpful. The girls all appear to have emigrated to Victoria State, Australia and all married there.
I have the info on time and families in Australia. Many thanks

Thanks again Rosie. I didn't know about the free weekend. I'll see to it that I spend some time filling in blanks. I was going to renew membership to Ancestry at the beginning of Feb, but had a nasty accident falling from a step ladder which buckled when I was 6 ft up, clearing gutters. Now I've got prob with my heart and will be off to Papworth!! Getting old!
