Hi
It's unlikely that you will find the parents listed as statutory registration wasn't introduced in Scotland until 1855. It's either a trawl through baptism records or a search for their death records, if they died in Scotland.

Hope this might help:
Marriage entry has William as working at Cathrinefield, Dumfries and Jane as daughter of Mr Robson there.
1851
Cathrinefield, Nithsdale
James Robison, 54, farmer of 150 acres, 6 labourers,b, Irongray, Kirkcudbrightshire
Jane Robison, 53, b. Dumfriesshire
......
Jane Robison, daughter, 19, b. Dumfriesshire
.......
William Smith, servant, 25, farm servant, b. Urr, Kirkcudbrightshire
So the most likely couple on the 1861 are:
Greenbrae, St Marys, Dumfries
William Smith, 38, ploughman, b. Urr, Kirkcudbrightshire
Jane, 29,
Jemima, 9
Jessie, 2
Jane and daughters, b. Dumfriesshire
