in 1851 was relative was living at 18, Union Road, Castle Dyke, Extra Parochial, Lincoln,
two questions , what is the meaning of Extra Parochial.
and can anyone tell Me what his occupation was .

He was a Collar maker in 1841 (horse collars?)
and Saddler in 1861
Extra-parochial districts were not in any (religious) parish. The area around Lincoln Castle was extra-parochial.
