I cannot find out what happened to Lucy Ord. Lucy was born in Stockton, 1831, her parents were Benjamin Ord and Ann (nee Hutchinson). There is a marriage for Lucy to John Langley Gennaut or Gennant in Stockton, 1851. John's father was Thomas Allison Gennaut or Gennant. I have found nothing for Lucy after her marriage and can find nothing for her husband or father-in-law. Can anyone help please?
Thank you.

York Herald 27 Jan 1872
A long report on the inquest into Lucy Tennant's death states she had been living in the public house in Whitby with a man named Robert Taylor , a law stationer , she was in poor health , suffering from heart disease. Taylor , described as her paramour , stated she was the wife of Christopher Tennant , a gentleman of fortune , living retired from business at Stockton on Tees.
A further report in the Whitby Gazette confirms the husband as John Langley Tennant , not Christopher.

Its appallingly difficult to read, but I think Christopher might possibly be in Liverpool in 1871.
