I was just wondering if there is any way I could go further back in my family tree, at the start of it
I have
Thomas Mansell died 1818 Gotherington aged 69, Buried 17/9/1818 in Bishops Cleeve.
Married Mary Wilks 24/7/1776 at Bishops Cleeve.
Mary died 1815 aged 66, Buried 18/11/1815 at Bishops Cleeve.
I already have their sons Richard bapt. 26/1/177 and Thomas bapt. 14/1/1780 both born at Gotherington and bapt. at Bishops Cleeve.
I couldn't find any other children.

Hello Daisy.
I am very grateful for your help. I did spend a week in Gloucester records office a few years ago camping in a field 5 miles away and was only able to find what I have.
Ann, Hannah, and Jean look as though they are Thomas and Mary's daughters, being daughters and not sons makes it easy for me to put them in my book because if they were males I have to follow their children as well. I can certainly add Richard and Johannah to my tree along with the baptism. My family comes off Richard their son, Thomas their other son I could not find again after his baptism. If either of those girls got married and there was a record found that would be great.
I suppose the next thing to find is who was Johannah.

That is brilliant thank you, I am busy moving my family tree down a generation of which I now have eleven.
I have to try and find the deaths of Richard and Johannah and any of those daughters and Thomas the son.

Just to recap, Thomas MANSELL married Mary WILKS 24 July 1776 at Bishops Cleeve and Mary died 1815 aged 66 = c1749

is it like an electoral register.

It's an Overseers Report in 1769 -
Just looking at the Gloucestershire Genelogical Database - there is also a Kattan WILKES same year 1769 - Bishops Cleeve (just check for more).
Obviously they were poor and in need of help.

Joseph and Mary have a son Thomas Baptised in 1782 which probably means Joseph could be my Mary's brother.

Now I have added Richard and Joanna(Johannah) (Joannah) to my tree I would like to find when Joanna may have died. I have searched family searched but no joy.
burial could be Bishops Cleeve or Dowdeswell or Whittington or Winchcombe.
