Title: Carroll Family Tullamore
Post by: kinsey5156 on Tuesday 27 February 18 20:25 GMT (UK): I am researching the family of James Carroll born Tullamore c 1817. I am finding it difficult to find any information and wondered if anyone could help point me in the right direction.
I am looking for the following:
Baptism record for James Carroll born 1817 Tullamore
Marriage of James Carroll (1817) to an Ann? Tullamore
Baptism of a William Henry Carroll 1841 Tullamore Parents James and Ann
Baptism of a Mary Carroll 1837 Tullamore Parents James and Ann

I found the information on the 1851 census because the family moved to Hull England just before the 1851 census. It said they were from Tullamore Wicklow but above it it then said Kings County.
I put this in the Wicklow thread but now think it should be in the Offaly section.
Any help or guidance appreciated.

They moved from Tullamore to Hull before the 1851 census - Two of the children William and Mary were born in Tullamore and two other children Sarah and John were born in Hull.

Post by: kinsey5156 on Tuesday 27 February 18 20:47 GMT (UK): Just above the James Carroll in the 1851 it says Kings County but beside James name is says Tullamore Wicklow. Maybe the Carroll family are from Offaly not Wicklow if Kings County is Offaly.

Anyone know how I move this thread to the Offaly section rather than Wicklow?
