Hi all,
Can someone please transcribe the handwritten note to the left of the record.
Thank you,
Jamie

I believe it says:
a true Bill
d(itt)o
The writing is rather loose.

See: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/true-bill
Whether a Grand Jury was involved or not I can't say. You would need to know more about the legal system under which they were tried. It may (I stress may) just mean that a local magistrate had committed them to trial.
All the definitions I can find refer to modern American usage, hence the Grand Jury reference.
