Can anyone identify the town where Susanah was born? And a second question , not deciphering related- I noticed the person above her, in the same town, had the same maiden name. Is it likely they were sisters?
Thanks

The place name looks like Crinkle :-\ Whilst it is possible the women were sisters Kelly is not an unusual surname

I thought it looked like Cinkle too :) I may have answered my own question - I looked at a map. I think it might be Crinkill. I agree about Kelly being a common name, so didn’t want to jump to conclusions.

If it is the same place it seems to be spelt Crinkle as well http://www.libraryireland.com/topog/C/Crinkle-Ballybritt-Offaly.php so looks good ;D

The Registration District is Parsonstown
http://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php (the link is only to the search page, iPad limit, just pick Parsonstown from the drop down)
Check the Civil Parishes (Birr in this case)and
Crinkill is a town and townland.
