James Dickson was born on 19/3/1904 in Dundee, Scotland.His parents were John Dickson and Eliza Jane McManus. On 8/12/1930 he married Isabella Millar.
He was killed in Bari, Italy on 9/4/1945 when the American Liberty Ship SS Charles Henderson exploded in the harbour killing 360 people.
