Any Details of Guliumus Jenkins b abt 1820 married Thyrza ?. ireland Daughter Teresa b 1843. Daughter Teresa moved to England Nottinghamshire and married Henry Godward. On the marriage certificate gives her Fathers details as Sligo. Hoping to find any details of Guliumus and Thyrza. Help Appreciated.

Was his name taken from his daughter’s church marriage and is that in Latin? On your other post you mention the alternative name William which would be more likely.
Is there an occupation for him on the civil marriage certificate?

That’s what I meant :) on the other thread, gales has William but has reverted to Latin for this thread.

Hello, Thank You for reply The details were taken from the marriage certificate. I just assumed it meant William. I do believe they were Catholics. The certificate was very basic. No Clues. I do appreciate the details you have sent. Thank You. gales

County Sligo
this was in 1834
Toomour…….if you google/search Keash Sligo you will see the map, zoom in slowly and you will see the townland Toomour.
In 1858 William had land, in Griffiths Valuation the town land was Bellanascarrow East and Rosscrib West.
In 1901 there was a Ruth Jenkins head of the family, she was from County Leitrim, children born in Sligo.
