I am sorry I was on the wrong board but the Ralph Jackson that you posted about does appear to be the one I am looking for. I am from the US and have never been to the UK. This also is my first time on this site. Thought I understood how to post but I had better go back and redo the beginners section. Thanks for the info. I am looking for his parents which would be my ggg grandparents. My gg grandfather, Ralph's brother, migrated to Canada and he also had 2 additional brothers according to a letter written by Ralph's niece, Hannah. Hannah stated there were 4 brothers, Ralph the oldest, and my gg grandfather, Jonas, the youngest but does not mention the names of other 2 brothers. I would like to fill in those blanks.

Hi the Ralph above was baptised 11th October 1801 Hull St Mary Father Ralph Mother Mary, and married 24th November 1841 Guisborough a Jane Mitchael? both father's dead, one of the witnesses was a Mary Jackson

Ralph Jackson was baptised at St Mary’s, Hull, on 11 October 1801.
Parents were Ralph and Mary.

Ralph snr and Mary also had a daughter Jane baptised at St Mary’s, Hull on 17 Jan 1804.

We really need the birth/place of Jonas to establish if the above Ralph is correct?

Jonas Jackson was born in England, not sure where but he was born around 1811
