Thomas Gearon, born 16 June 1908 in Belfast, Antrim.
Searching for details of the names of his parents and also details around marriage to Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin (born 15 January 1911 also in Belfast, Antrim).
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Kate Kennedy married Thomas Gearon on 28th October 1889. Again, certificate can be viewed for free at same site.

These are brilliant pieces of information that I will be able to pass on to their Grandson, thank you so much.
WOuld the same sites provide further details then about the next generation, Thomas Gearon and Kate Kennedy?

The following link shows the marriage of Thomas Gearon and Kate Kennedy in 1889, fathers recorded as Patrick Gearon and James Kennedy:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1889/10747/5918981.pdf
Note that the St. Patrick's Church record of the marriage identified the groom's parents as Patrick Gearon and Mary Quinlan, the bride's parents as James Kennedy and Kate Fitzpatrick, the groom's parent's address was given as 4 Rotherhithe Rd, Bermondsey, London.
Possibly Kate's baptism on 3 December 1868 in Drumlane RC parish (3rd entry down)?

Thank you gaffy - may I ask where I am able to see the St Patrick's Church record on line at all, if at all?
This is great information to have the name of both Patrick Gearon AND Mary Quinlan - now I want to go further!

... may I ask where I am able to see the St Patrick's Church record on line at all, if at all?
I'm not aware of any current online resource which will show an image of that record.
-
So to be naïve, but how did you find this information out gaffy? As I can't see it on the marriage certificate.

A transcript of a St. Patrick's church record.

how do you get to see that?

I've sent you a pm.

as the name is not that common in the area there is a fairly recent burial of a Gearon in Befast Cemetery born circa 1942
