Hi,I have just brought a day sub and am really struggling to open any records I find.It only gives me 2 options ,!st open in search room and 2nd see more records etc
Has any one got any ideas or is it the records I want are not available online ?

Generally, the 3 main types of records that are viewable online are parish registers (baptisms, marriages and burials), wills and electoral registers.
The search results page shows an image icon next to each record that can be viewed online. What type of documents are you looking for?

I am trying to look at the Ingrave death, burials and esp the memorial inscriptions .I cant look at any of them ?

I'm not sure which church/cemetery you're interested in but they have 2 listings for MIs in Ingrave. Both items have the creator as Essex Society for Family History, so it may be that ESFH haven't given permission for the documents to be reproduced online.
Seax - Catalogue: T/Z 151/154 (St Nicholas, Ingrave, monumental inscriptions)

Seax - Catalogue: T/Z 151/151 (Thorndon Park, Ingrave, monumental inscriptions)

As for the burials, the only parish registers they appear to have are for St Nicholas. If you go to the index page for St Nicholas and simply click on the View link for the burial register you're interested in, you can browse through the images. Note that SEAX haven't transcribed any of the parish registers they hold.

Thank you,I did wonder if that was the case .I needed to look at a burial at Thorndon Park chapel ,it's a R/C cemetery.
Never mind shame I don't have any others to look at

The MIs for Thorndon Park are available from ESFH. I think you may have missed my post for Louisa Maud a few days ago.
