My Mothers Grandmother 'Lillias Moffat' was born 31 May, Vadlure, Walls, Shetland, to Thomas Moffat 1808-1887 and Marion Robertson 1812-1904. She came to New Zealand with her Husband James Fraser on the ship 'Nelson'. Also travelling out to New Zealand with her was a brother Thomas and sister Jean (Jane) Sinclair Moffat.
Lillias died in Childbirth with her 4th Child, and James Fraser remarried.
None of Lillias's desendants have ever seen a photo of her to know what she looks like, and my mother who is now in her mid eighties would love to see what her Grandma looked like.
I am just wondering if there are any family photos out there.
She had 5 sisters, Bessie, Jean, Elizabeth, Marion, and Thomasina,
and 2 brothers John and Thomas.
Would love to hear from anyone who might be able to help with this.
