Hi,

I’m looking for the marriage of William Shortland and Anne, who had a child called Thomas Shortland b.1758 in Sunbury-on-Thames . I‘m also looking for the birth and parents of Richard Dukes and Elizabeth Ann Nicolls who married 30 march 1757 in Heston,Middlesex and the birth and parents of William Shortland and Anne.

Looks like they had another son in 1763...

Richard Shortland.  baptised 11 Sep 1763, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey.

There is a burial for a William Shortland at Sunbury on 25 May 1767 and then a marriage for an Anne Shortland (widow) to James Truckel at Sunbury on 11 Feb 1772.

The only William + Ann marriage that I can find is a Fleet marriage in London of William Shortland of Horton near Colebrook , widower & husbandman to Ann White, spinster of same in 1749 at Westminster??

Following on from the marriage 10 Jan 1749  there are baptisms at Horton, Buckinghamshire with parents William & Ann

Mary Shortland - 09 Feb 1749
William Shortland - 3 May 1751
John Shortland - 15 Feb 1754
Maria Shotland - 29 Jul 1757

Horton is next to Colnbrook  ;)

I’m also interested in the births and parents of Richard Dukes and Elizabeth Ann Nicolls who married 30 March 1757 in Heston .

They were both of Horton near Colnbrook on the Fleet marriage record.  That does not however mean that either of them were born there

Hello again,

William Shortland was a widower when he married Ann White in Westminster in 1749. He may have been the William Shortland who married Mary Crowder in Ealing 1741. He’s a batchelor of Horton Buckinghamshire age 21 and she’s a widow. I’m looking for his baptism and his parents, Can someone help please ?
