Hi all
I am searching for the death of Frances Fisher nee Rolls. She was born in 1807 to Daniel Rolls and Elizabeth Blewett. Frances married Edward Fisher in 1830 and they had several children.
I cant seem to find her death. She is listed on the 1891 England census with Edward, and she is aged 84. Edward died in 1894 and i havent found her on the 1901 census. I have found someones tree on Ancestry claiming she died at the beginning of 1891 (before the census was taken) but the probate attached to her name clearly states that she is a spinster.
In 1891 Edward and Frances were living in Hounslow, Heston, Middlesex, so any help would be wonderful :)

In 1891 they are in Brentford Middlesex which rules out the probate record you found for a FF who was a spinster and died in March as the census was taken on the 5 April.
GRO has both of these....
Fanny Fisher, age 84, Reg in Brentford, June Qtr 1891, Vol 03A, p.43 - This is likely your Frances.
Frances Fisher, age 73, Reg in Shoreditch, March Qtr, Vol 01C, p.88 - This would be spinster FF of the above probate.

At Hounslow, Heston, Fanny Fisher, of Hounslow, buried 6 June 1891, aged 84.

I have been going over the GRO since last night from 1891 to 1900 and i think i was blind or something. You don't know how much i appreciate the help. And i was only looking for Frances. Didn't even consider Fanny, which is probably why it never showed up for me :)
