Hi,
I´m looking for a birth of Lucy Brooker who was born abt. 1790-1792 in Worth,Sussex. There is a birth for a Lucy Brooker b.1798 in Worth daughter of Mark and Mary but there is also a death for a Lucy Brooker in August 1798 Worth so I don´t think she is my ancestor. Lucy married 1821 in Croydon Edward Pattenden. From the record I know that one of them was widowed but i don´t who it was. Thats why I´m not sure if Brooker is her maiden name. All the Information are from Familysearch. Hope you can help me to find her baptism and parents.

A possible marriage, James Brooker married Lucy in 1816, Sussex, had 1 child John in 1817.
James died in 1819 and was buried at Worth. I can't find the marriage record yet.

Wow thanks a lot for all the information that would explain why I can’t find a birth for a Lucy Brooker in 1790/91 in Worth because Brooker could be her marriage name . I‘m curious about her maiden name .

Possible? James Brooker married Lucy Langridge, 9 January 1816, Whitechapel.
Back in Sussex, baptism at Worth, 30 September 1792, Lucy Langridge, daughter of William + Sarah.

I think Jane has discounted this baptism, as this Lucy most likely is the infant who was buried 6 August 1798 at Worth. And as you found out, Lucy BROOKER was a widow on her marriage to Edward. :) The Lucy LANGRIDGE Jon found looks promising.

There is a burial for James BROOKER age 28, from Worth at St Nicholas, Worth on 28 Mar 1819.
