Edward HALL born abt 1851 (Devon) arrived 01 Jan 1874 Queensland.
Would there be any further information about this person on this record please?
I'm clutching at straws and thinking this could be the man I've been searching for many years dropping into Australia prior to Hokitika NZ where he married. in 1877.
Any help appreciated.

Thank you for your information Sue, I will try and see if i can find any records for passengers leaving Queensland for NZ around that time now. I know my Edward Hall married in Hokitika in 1877 having been there 4 years according to Intentions to marry certificate.
I have the marriage cert etc
As i said this is a long shot to follow up but nothing ventured nothing gained!

Family search has NZ passenger lists which might be helpful, also freesurnamesearch.com, also Christchurch library and Google NZ passenger lists which might have some clues.
