Looking for Hannah Jane Tuhey born 1836 in Halifax, Yorkshire.
I know she married in 1854 Bermondsey, London, England. Her husband was James Joseph Johnson.
As they were both under age i have been trying to find the Marriage to confirm Father's Names.
I have James with parents in 1841 and 1851.

I have not found Hannah before her Marriage but have her on 1861 with her husband and Brother

I believe Hannah's Father was Jeremiah. ( Sent to me via PM but no references )

Hannah and James had 8 Children. The 7th child was my Great Grandmother Annie Johnson b 1871

Most of the children have Mothers maiden name as Tuhey But we also have, Toohey, Twey and in 1861 her brother is a Twody.
Childrens names are Mary Jane, Joseph James,Alice, Sarah, Henry, Hannah, Annie and Roseanna.

I have been looking for Hannah Jane Tuhey for about 3 month's and can not find anything for Hannah or John before 1861.
Any Help much appreciated.

I've looked at the 1861 census entry for James and Hannah with the family.  All entries have the same  "Where Born" statement as Surrey, Bermondsey, including Hannah's brother.  I'm therefore a little confused as to where Halifax comes in  :-\

I see it states Full Age but at 17 and 18 they weren't quite there.
  In 1881 census she states born Leeds.
I have a date of 29 May 1836 St John's Halifax but cannot see where i got it from. Think it came off a tree my late great Uncle did in the 1970's.
I have Bermondsey for  John but also have him born 1836.
Will have to have a look in the morning and see what i can find on the free sites.

St John the Baptist, Halifax baptism entries are available via Ancestry, and there is no sign of an entry for Hannah Jane on 29 May 1836.  The only entry containing the forename Hannah is Hannah, daughter of Samuel and Hannah Bates.  Sorry  :'(

Just using "Hannah Jane" and "Jeremiah" there are no entries in the available West Yorkshire C of E records, nor in the available West Yorkshire Non-Conformist records.

Thanks for looking. I will remove that information and look for her in Surrey. No wonder i could not find anything.
I think years ago we went down the Bates track and found it to be wrong.

I did also try the available Surrey baptism records - using the same criteria - and again, nothing.

 Yes that's him. From memory i think he was a widower in 1881. But do not have him in 1891, 1901 or 1911 because i was trying to find Hannah.
Hannah died 1884 in Leeds.

I haven't checked all the children's mmn.  Sarah, Henry and Hannah born in Leeds, all others in London.
