Hi all :)
I need help plz deciphering 2 entries on this list
I have Julia ROONEY aged 15 gone to Thomas CARROLL
its the entry underneath same surname i cant figure out and also the county of origin

My first thought was Hector but more likely Hester if it's a girl.  The word on the right looks like Kings.

What date is this? Do you have parents & a birth/baptism for Julia Rooney? If so you may be able to find the sibling on https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/.

There is a Julia Roony with a mother Esther born 1838 in Birr, County Offaly (a.k.a. King's county).
What date is your list?

Estimated Birth Year    abt 1842
Age    15
Arrival Date    23 Jan 1857
Arrival Port    Geelong, Australia

Nationality    Irish and Scottish

I have seen ancestry trees with the 1838 date but they cant tell me how they came about that info
this may not be the Julia ROONEY im looking for but the list says going to Thomas CARROLL presumably sponsor..there is a Rooney with a Carroll in a photo thats in family so thought i better check this out
The Hester or Hector is listed as 36..there is a Julia with mother Esther SPAIN still exploring if it is ours

Vic bdm online index gives Julia CONLON's death with parents as John ROONEY and Esther SPAIN. #6183.

A valid Plastic card comes in handy if you want to download image of the registration.  :)

Julia Roony baptised 15th June 1838 (Parish - Birr and Loughkeen, Co. Offaly) has a mother Esther Spain, father John Roony and sponsors James and Mary Kennedy.
