Hi All,
I have a passenger list dated 1957 where the passengers I'm interested in were coming from New York to the UK.
The address given that they would be visiting in the UK was 34 Leabon Street, West Ham (typewritten so no mistake of the name).
I can't find any mention of this street in the 1939 register and it seems to have been re-developed since 1957.
Anyone know how I can find out who was living here either in 1939 or 1957 or any of the dates in between?
Many thanks.

Try Lebon Street in 1939 or Lebrun Street

You beauty! Bingo!
Lebon Street it was.
Many thanks. :)

I think Lebrun St is just mistranscribed and should also be Lebon :)

Newham Archives and Local Studies Library should have the 1950's electoral rolls - you can email them https://www.newham.gov.uk/Pages/Services/Local-history-and-archives.aspx

Thank you all. :)

Leabon St (and that’s the correct spelling) in West Ham, sat between John St and Plaistow Grove.
My grand mother lived there.
It was bombed out in the blitz and the whole street no longer exists.
