Would anyone be able to tell me what information is on these records
I only subscribe to ancestry at present but it came up with a hint for my great grandfather Arthur Weston (on his death record he is Arthur Frank Weston - Frank was his twin brother and he seems to have adopted his name as a middle name at some point). He was born 13 Dec 1901 in East Harptree to William and Emily
The transcript on ancestry is as follows
Name A Weston
Gender Male
Age 16
Birth Date 13 Dec abt 1902
Birth Place East Harptree, Bristol, Glob
Service Date 7 Dec 1918
Service Number 326037
Father William Weston
Next of Kin William Weston
Is there any more information than this on the find my past records - if there is I'll purchase the credits,

There is an image of his service record.

If a document is on a site that you don't subscribe to.
Perhaps if you are a Member of your local Library or Archives / University Archives (usually free in England, but will probably need formal printed name & address & photo ID like a Passport to join or get a Readers Ticket), maybe you can see it / download it there? It might be possible to save it to memory stick, or probably save it, then email it to yourself?
Our Library has two of the main Family History sites.
Or print it for the Library print cost?

Thanks both
Up till now I'd assumed he was too young to have served in the first world war (16 when the armastice was signed) - his elder brother died in Flanders in 1917
-
Doesn't look as if he actually served, he enlisted 7.12.1918 as a Boy.
-
Any ideas what that would have involved?

He only served 175 days, then was transferred to the Reserve.
