Hi guys
I've always found Welsh genealogy very difficult, especially as my Welsh ancestors are nearly all Edwards and Jones! I've never been confident in the records I've found for Charlotte Rees. In her census records she lists herself as being born at varying years between 1810 and 1814, and as being born in Carmarthen. She married John Isaac Edwards in 1833. The only baptisms for a Charlotte Rees I can find are one in Carmarthen in 1808 and one in St Clears in 1816. Given the uncertainty she seems to have around her age, I'm not sure whether to go for the baptism in 1808?

She is consistent in giving her place of birth as Carmarthen, so that seems to rule out the one in St Clears, daughter of David & Jane. Also, amongst their children no David or Jane.
The 1808 baptism has father Samuel, no Samuel amongst their children.
Have you found baptisms for all their children? Only one I've spotted so far is for Handel. If not, it could be that they were non-conformist, or at least Charlotte was. Not all baptisms are online, particularly non-conformist ones.
