I am keen to know details, photos and stories of any other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the above Mary Jane DUFFIELD, nee LEWIS.
In return, I'm happy to share family photo, stories and earlier LEWIS ancestry that I have acquired in my research to date.
Additionally, I'm looking for information on any other Lewis children born to Dorothea Blakeley and John Lewis between 1854 and 1868, including their son William Armstrong Lewis b 1859 d 1928 Dublin. Possibly he son John who moved back to Belfast in 1920s.

The early passenger lists do not give a lot of detail unfortunately. The 1900 census gave Robert immigration as 1870 and Mary 1871 - they had been married 20 years - had 8 children at that date.
There was a Robt Duffield aged 18 years - Anne Duffield 16 years (spinster) and Wm Duffield 10 years travelling on a New York passenger List - Liverpool to New York via Queenstown Ireland. 9 May 1879 - City Of Brussels.
Another Passenger List - Gallia - 14 December 1880 - with a Mary Duffield discounted - Mary was 19 years old - born Ireland 1861 - spinster. :'(

Can't wait to see the photo, but in trying to find your link again. Btw, I'm in the UK in case you were wondering.
Incidentally, Robert and Mary Jane married in 1878 in Belfast, so they had to have emigrated after that time. As they were under 21, parental consent would have been needed. Roberts's brother Thomas Duffield was his Witness, and her older brother's wife was Anna M Lewis, nee Small was her witness. So they definitely left Ireland after 1878.

The CA & SS Death Indexes both list her as Jeanne B Geraldson. The grave site for Jeanne has not been located..........

Yes, this is what happened in 2005, when a relative contacted me.
Btw, I've found my LDS login details, but I can't save Mary Jane LEWIS to my tree so that I can just add the records that you have sent me. Once I can master it, Duffield descendants will also be able to find me via familysearch.
It was a sheer fluke that I found her on her older brother's wedding as a witness, then found her wedding in Belfast on 28 Oct 1878. Without any births found or Irish census records, I guessed that they had emigrated, but didn't know where, until a Google search found them on a published family tree of her daughter, Annie.
