I understand these are online recently.
John White 1774-1832 - wife's name Janet - he was a Captain in 3rd Ceylon Regt and died in Irvine, Ayrshire.
Any look up available?
-
I believe these are available to download from FindMyPast ;)
There are quite a few pages, some local libraries have free access to F M P
-
thanks Rosie. Thinking of paying as I go on FindMyPast. You get up to 60 credits.
-
That will only get you 6 pages. Often these records have virtually blank pages in amongst them for which you would be charged 10 credits. You may be better with a 1 month subscription though you would need to check which 'package' includes these records.
-
There is more than one file for this on FindMyPast - one just has a couple of pages, the other has lots of documentation about marriage, baptisms, cause of death, burial, wife's death etc.
-
thanks Shaun - the files sound very interesting.

Hi Shaun
May I ask if these documents are clearly printed?
-
Sorry I am a relative of the John White who posted a while back.
thanks
-
Hello White Ja, you would be better to use your older profile as it has all your other topics on it.

Sarah
