Can SKS see if the following family are located in either Mitton or Stourport in either 1841 or 1851 please:
John Underhill Head Mar b. abt. 1807 at sea?
Ann Underhill Wife Mar b. abt 1805 Kidderminster
Samuel Underhill Son b. abt 1834 Kidderminster

Excellent, thanks very much. This now confirms John and Ann as Samuel's parents. I only had them in 1861 by which time Samuel had left home.

Thanks for the extra info.
Something for me to investigate.
1861 gives me this "gem" for birthplace:
"At Sea Bretish Sulham, Worcestershire, England"
I've looked at the image and it really isn't clear at all, but the Worcestershire, England part is certainly erroneous.

I can see this post is very old, but I am just researching now and have traced my line to John Underhilll from Ireland (born at sea). I have found some military records that may take the line back further.
Would be keen to get in touch.
