Title: Judith Cahill 1818
Post by: JoyceMH on Wednesday 25 April 18 01:02 BST (UK)
I am trying to find a birth certificate of associated information on Judith Cahill born Queens Co around 1818. Not sure how to go about that - thanks

Civil registration of births didn't start until 1864 so for earlier records you'll need to search for baptisms- lots of Irish Catholic parish registers are online (not all are online) although dates of records vary so there may or may not be a baptism to find.
https://registers.nli.ie/

If you do find a possible record then you'll need supplementary details to be sure or fairly sure, that it is a record for the right Judith Cahill. Death or marriage record, etc. giving parents' names or other evidence.

Hello,

Ireland Catholic Parish Registers shows this baptism

Judith Cahil baptism 1817 Camross, Laois

Father: Jas Cahil.   Mother:   Anne Kegan
Sponsors Wm Birmingham and Catherine Gorman
Cloncully

The site won’t load for me so this is transcribed from Ancestry.

I looked for record that heywood found and can't see it but perhaps you'll have better luck.

After your post, I had to reread several times in case it was a marriage and I had misunderstood  ;D
