Title: changing password on Rootschat.
Post by: wilcoxon on Friday 27 April 18 13:55 BST (UK)
I want to alter my current password by adding some numbers, RC won`t let me do it even though it already contains one of what it says here.
Have things changed since I joined ?

The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile: Your password must not contain your username, email address or other commonly used words..

If you contact Sarah she should be able to help you sort the password out.

Thank Dbree ;)

Nothing has changed Wilcoxen ??? Please remember that passwords must have a minimum of 8 letters/numbers and can not be your username or email because they are not secure passwords ;)

Any problems just let me know.

Regards

Sarah

I must have forgotten my password then , because  what I thought it was doesn`t meet those requirements.

If you have forgotten your password you can request a new one, you do this by logging out and then in the box where you login your will see a button "forgotten password" if you click on this a new one will be sent to you.

OR.... As you are currently logged in you go into your profile and choose a new password, which you type in twice, the password needs to match to be accepted.
