Hello there, I just wanted to ask if anyone can do an overseas military marriage lookup please? I am not sure if there is a thread or a place I should have looked first, apologies if so. If anyone can help, please let me know and I will send details of my request - the marriage was in 1969 and I cannot access on Ancestry. Many thanks.

Thanks PaulineJ, that’s great. Does anyone have the appropriate find my past subscription please to do the lookup if I give the details? I can repay the favour by doing a lookup on Ancestry if that is any use to anyone?

I think it's just an index, full details from the GRO as usual.

Limited details as PaulineJ says, names, place of marriage and reference number. If that would do ,then , if no one else has beaten me to it if you private message me, I will have a look.

A quick lookup might be a start thank you cath151, with GRO you can find the surname of the other party, presumably it will be a similar thing with military marriages..? Only one way to find out. Hopefully I can now pm you, I’ll give it a try this evening.
