Hi, I am looking for a marriage for my 4th Grandfather Charles Poultney born in 1782 who could have married Jane McCraken in Ireland. He was a soldier in the 16th Lancers and according to his military record he was stationed in Ireland between 1802 to 1805.
I dont know if these are of any use but on these dates he was here:
25 Jun 1802 - 24 Mar 1803 - Longford
25th Mar 1803 - 24 Jan 1804 - Dublin
25 Jan 1804 - 25 Sep 1805 - Gort/Loughrea/Dunmore/Ballimasloe
26 Sep 1805 - 24 Dec 1805 - Dublin
I don't know anything about Jane McCraken and I would be very grateful to find out some more info as I am intrigued.
