Title: Martha McCall Learmond

My GGGfather John Robsons  second wife Martha McCall Learmond b 1840 Jedburgh died 1895 Jedburgh has her name on their MC  as Ramsden Widow,    MC to JR is 11 June 1875.    I just cannot find her 1st marriage to the mystery "Ramsden"    Help, as always, greatly appreciated.

Have you looked for Martha Ramsden on the 1871 census in case hubby was still alive?

Does her death cert show first husbands name?

Any Ramsden children - have you looked up their births to get fathers name?

sorry should have put more info on post.   The only mention of Ramsden is on her MC.   No trace on 1861/71 census.    No children showing as Ramsden.    The only Ramsden in this family is Samuel Ramsden Learmond born 1872 to her sister Christina.    No marriage to a Ramsden for Christina either.   Christina marries a William Davison in 1879.   Samuel  is also the informant on Marthas DC.    Weird
