Frances Dexter was born about 1806 in Cottesmore, Rutland.

She married William Fountain on 12 June 1827 in Uppingham, Rutland and they had several children.

Frances' death was registered in October 1844 in Oakham.

Who were her parents?

I have CD of parish registers that I got from Leicestershire and Rutland FHS (I am a member) but I cannot see Frances on it.

I would really like to find out who her parents were in the hope I can connect all my Dexter lines.

William Fountain married Mary Sharman who was born in 1827 in Greetham, Rutland in 1848 and had more children.

If you don't have birth/baptism details, how were you able to pinpoint year and place of birth?
There's a baptism of a Frances Dexter, 16 May 1803, Edmondthorpe, parents John and Elizabeth, occupation labourer.
Not that far from Cottesmore?

I have had the details I gave a long time, probably from familysearch when it was called IGI.

I also have her on the 1841 census that gives her place and approx year of birth.

They married at Whitwell - Frances was OTP & William was from Cottesmore.
